IT IS A SHAME THAT MOST THESE SCRIBBLERS DON'T HAVE THE BALLS TO PUT DOWN THEIR

IT IS ALSO A SHAME THAT SOME SUCH PEOPLE SELECTIVELY BREACH COPYRIGHT LAWS

NEALE PRIOR
IN HIS TOXIC LITTLE NEWSPAPER COLUMN.

TO SET THE RECORD
STRAIGHT
1/ Any good political propagandist whether communist, left and far left wing, or right and far right wing always sets up the premise or idea for his/her story in its headline. In this case Neale Prior chose the word PRETENDER to try and negatively influence his readers into believing that I am a PRETENDER - and all this before they had actually read his often factually inaccurate, shallow and superficial little offering. Make no mistake, I am the no pretender and such deviousness and unwarranted vilification should be beneath any genuinely unbiased journalist. In the headline to his article Prior gave his game away when he clearly signaled that he is just another left wing stooge for the Carpenter government, and not even a very good one at that! 2/ His comment that "my candidacy has been put on hold pending an examination of his close links to the extreme right-wing internet site Global Action International" is a straight up misrepresentation of the facts on several counts. a. That was not the reason why my candidacy was on hold at the time. b. I don't have those mysterious 'close links' that this shabby story claims. I own the Global Action web site domain! Even the village idiot could have Googled that. But then, perhaps it was beyond the mental capacity of Prior's so-called "cyber-sleuths". 3/ In what was a rather tedious and repetitive telephone interview Prior let slip that he had "an archive copy" of the old Global Action web site. The original site had in fact been removed for a long overdue rewrite and was no longer accessible in its original "feedback" gathering "exercise in mental gymnastics" format . As a result, Prior could not view any material live on the internet because it wasn't there. He had to resort to his "cyber-sleuths". I would point out that my web site is copyright and if either Prior or any Labor party or other "sleuths" copied or "archived" my web site without my permission they are in clear breach of international copyright law. I wonder if Prior will reveal the identity of his "cyber-sleuths"? I doubt it, he 'll hide behind journalistic privilege and nondisclosure of sources. Wasn't the Sunday Times newspaper recently in the soup over similar issues about "sources"? The fact is, any thinking reader will immediately conclude that Prior's "cyber-sleuths" are just common or garden left wing maggots! When quizzed by myself about the unauthorised use of my copyright photograph and artwork in the above story, Prior immediately ducked for cover. Not very ethical Mr Prior! Remember rule number one ... GET A MEDIA RELEASE FORM SIGNED BEFORE YOU PUBLISH IMAGES! 4/ As you see, the web site in not DEFUNKED, because you're on it right now. That's just another Prior misrepresentation. 5/ The term "self styled writer" is deliberately intended to be demeaning and insulting - here we see the art of the left wing propagandist at work again. Mr. Prior can't help himself! But it's also untrue. I would venture to suggest that I was writing when Neale Prior was in Primary School! 6/ Again the demeaning, condescending, "whose only claim to fame was probably a show on the community television station Access 31. What a dismissive tone to apply to the one community television station that offers young Western Australians a practical, hands on, pathway to a television career. What an insult to all those people who struggle on shoestring budgets to learn both their craft and to offer quality local television content to the people of A few facts: I created and PRODUCED over 100, one hour, live to air morning news and current affairs television shows for Access 31 (WAke Up Perth) and was honoured to receive a National Community Television award for BEST PRODUCER 2006. The award itself has two very sharp pointy bits and I know exactly where I would like to shove them! Unlike Brian Burke, Alan Carpenter and Reese bona fide television PRODUCER. And as all those gentlemen will be fully aware, producers hire, and fire journos, just as newspaper editors should hire and fire print media scribblers who don't get their facts right! Do I have a claim to fame? I don't think so. Fame is not what I seek, but rather service to my family and to my community.
7/
The reference to "Slash Immigration" to which Prior referred in his
story was (of course) not
elaborated upon.
FACT: Prior deliberately chose to ignore the fact that the
relevant article on the web site spoke
about immigration in the context of global warming, drought and the
inability of this continent
to support a large population into the
future. The destruction of the Western Australian wheat belt
and the
from the above, Prior, has an agenda... damage Lyn Vickery
and the Liberal Party at any price
because together they could be a real
threat to his rubbish head Labor
mates! Oh, and flog
a few newspapers along the way too. 8/
The reference to "Deport Illegals, Educate
Aussie Kids First" etc. I make no apology for. 9/
The "Stuff Gay Rights" bumper sticker artwork was tongue in cheek
humour. It's okay,
you can have a little laugh, the
political correctness gestapo aren't
around .... hopefully. 10/ The
"Stop Liberal's Slash and Burn Policies" was another of the range
of sticker ideas
created to test the reaction to
various policies in the media at the time. 11/
The "Turn Off Abbot and Costello" sticker idea originated from a
black and white
Abbot and Costello comedy movie and was again included both as humour
and to gauge
reaction. 12/
The matter of my endorsement or disendorsement
is of course in the hands of the Liberal Party
itself and so it would not be proper
for me to comment here. 13/
The point that the web site was created as "an excerise
in mental gymnastics" is precisely correct.
It was at it's core a research and marketing survey web site and at no
time was it ever a bona fide
or registered political
party, nor was it intended as such.
BUT IT WAS SO
GOOD IT EVEN SUCKED IN AND EXPOSED PRIOR, HIS DUMBO
CYBER-SLEUTHS AND A WHOLE
NET FULL OF OTHER LEFT AND RIGHT WING
LOONIES! THEY ALL
ACTUALLY BELIEVED THEY WERE ON TO A REAL POLITICAL WEB SITE .... SUCH IS THEIR PARANOIA!!!
As a person with long media and marketing experience and with over
twenty years experience
in the computer industry, I am very aware of the power of the internet
as a research tool to gauge
public opinion and also to form a
catalyst for discussion and debate.
As I told Prior, I spent six years researching every registered
political party in
the left to the right of that spectrum the media so loves to exploit to
sell its grubby little
newspapers. Of course Prior
forgot to tell his readers that. 14/
A close read of the copyrighted and hence illegal to archive Global
Action web site shows
that it puts forward policies from right across the so-called political
spectrum and it specifically
rejects and indeed avoids the notion of left and right which are
simplistic, emotive, handles
commonly used as media
shorthand. As with all shorthand, important facts often slip
through
the cracks. Global Action
championed the notion of Government as the umpire. 15/
Certainly some so-called right wing views were expressed as part
of the project, as were what
might be called left wing
views.
Of course right wing or even so called "far right wing" views sell
endless newspapers and so
these are the topics that Prior and his elusive "cyber-sleuths" zeroed
in on like bees to a
honey pot. No mention
about Global Action's comments, on poverty, aged care, pensions,
youth, education, the dental crisis, interest rates, debt, drought or
over fifty other vitally
important policy issues. Hell
no, that won't sink Lyn Vickery, embarrass the Liberal Party,
or even sell a newspaper. While I am right of
centre on the simplistic media scale mentioned above, I am by no means
personally "far right wing" in my values. I find the activities
of the "extreme" right wing, which the Global Action web site afforded
a useful means to study, simply unproductive and abhorrent. I should point out that
very few of the views canvassed on the earlier web site pages represent
anything more than opinions and beliefs that millions of Australians
exchange around the coffee machine, at work, or at a weekend
barbecue. They may not fit the straight jacket of "political
correctness", but they are exactly what a very large proportion of
Australian voters really think. Other than the Liberal
Party, I have never been a member of
any political organisation in I
am a third generation Aussie and proud to say my grandsons
represent a fifth generation. I'm also a rather
battered and care worn Christian, but of course all of that was of no
use to Prior in his muck raking exercise to discover fault with the
Liberal Party. It wasn't until after
he'd done his damage with his shoot from the hip 'editorial" that he
telephoned me a second time and discovered something of my six years of
voluntarily work assisting an international NGO (angelfoundation.org)
working with children in war zones such as Bosnia, Beslan, Iraq and the Sudan.
