RSPCA (Royal Society For the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) SAVE THE WEDGE TAIL EAGLE GENERAL COMMENTS GLOBAL ACTION (AUSTRALIA) strongly supports the work of the Royal Society For the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Australia and will act in the following ways:                                       a.  Improve access to funding.                                       b.  Increase and clarify the legal powers of  the RSPCA to further prevent cruelty to                                            animals.                                       c.  Provide assistance to eliminate illegal dog and cock fighting activities                                            by creating legislation with stiff penalties and prison terms for offenders.                                       e.  Consult with the Society on an ongoing basis about its requirements. GLOBAL ACTION (AUSTRALIA) supports the preservation on many endangered species in Australia including the wedge tail eagle (Aquila Audax).
