The first is the departure of 900,000 people – over half the city's population – since 1950. It peaked at 1.8 million in 1950. It is down to about 900,000 today. In
1994, the median sales price of a house in Detroit was about $41,000.
The housing bubble pushed it up to about $98,000 in 2003. In March
2009, the price was $13,600. Today, the price is $7,000. Check

A French court has denied citizenship to a Muslim woman from Morocco, ruling that her practice of "radical" Islam is not compatible with French values. The 32-year-old woman, known as Faiza M, has lived in France since 2000 with her husband - a French national - and their three French-born children. Saturday 24th November 2007 a state of temporary insanity descended
upon Australia when voters elected the Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard
Labor team.On Sunday morning millions of Australian will wake up and begin to ask themselves "what have we done?" As their present world gradually collapses around them, they will probably find themselves repeating that question for the next three years. So "What have we done?" Well here are a few of the answers. The nation has thrown away its birthright and any hope of strong and experienced future economic management by swallowing the sweet and tempting, but hollow words and promises of the slickest and yet most unqualified political team ever to lay their hands on the levers of power in our great nation. Under the guise of the quite meaningless cry "it's time for a change" Australians have thrown away the benefits of eleven years of prosperity and elected a new Prime Minister who's only claims to fame are that he was a one time diplomat and speaks fluent mandarin chinese. Even worse, they elected a total turkey, Julia Gillard, a motor mouth red, as deputy prime minister. This women clearly has the brains of a geranium and yet will guide the destiny of every Australian workplace - right back to the days of destructive and counter productive unionism. If, heaven forbid, Kevin Rudd falls ill due to his heart condition, this vain and empty headed creature will be prime minister.  Voters
have invited into our daily lives a plague of former union officials
and a pestilence of left wing cronies, political correctness and a
toxic mix of multi-culturalism that will lay the foundations for the
destruction of the very values that made this nation great. The
floodgates to foreign immigration will now lay wide open. Our
children and grandchildren will curse both this day and the short
sighted stupidity of the so called "swinging voters" who by their
political ignorance or just plain muddled headed thinking allowed this
calamity to occur.At a time when the United States financial and banking sectors are crumbling, expected growth in the world's biggest economy has been revised downward, inflation is again gathering steam and the US dollar is tattered and fading, Aussie voters invited a team of inexperienced and incompetent children, pop stars, nobodies and unionists to govern our affairs, protect our economy, keep mortgage rates down and guarantee job growth. Fat chance! If the American economy falters the knock on effect for Australia will be devastating. If the USA reduces it's purchases of Chinese goods our economic mining boom evaporates and the Australian economy will be savaged. As I write, a host of predator nations in OPEC (particularly led by muslim Iran and Chavez' Venezuela) are considering swapping oil contracts from US dollars to euros. To weather this growing storm, plus the already breaking cyclone of peak oil, we need hard nosed, experience, economic management, yet Australian voters have just elected a team of glib media darlings and novices. Expect a flood of African, Philippine, Mexican and Indonesian settlers, oops, refugees. Expect more Chinese who will snap up every tax dodge small cash business in the nation. More muslims, more Indians and Pakistanis who will gobble up the education and work places of Australian kids. Expect food and health standards to drop as third worlders take up more jobs in our food halls and fast food outlets. Expect more racial tension, drugs, marriage breakdowns, rape and crime. Expect more corruption. Finally expect your Australian rights to be trampled in the dirt. Don't expect the person on the other side of the counter at the local petrol dis-service station to be able to speak english. Whatever you do don't think that your children will ever again be able to "call Australia home". Yes, that's right, the vote that was cast on 24th of November 2007 for Labor will within two decades make Aussie kids strangers and slaves in their own land. Out of this shambles will come the next generation of Australian political traitors. They will joint the idiot Whitlam, who ran his Labor government and the nation broke and was fired by the then Governor General - Sir John Kerr. Al Grasby, the traitorous Whitlam immigration minister, who first opened the doors for the destruction of Australian culture and who was later exposed as a crook and died in shame. The disgraced fool Paul Keating, the self proclaimed "world's greatest treasurer" who gave Australia "the recession it needed to have" and for a time made us a banana republic. Then there was Bob Hawke, the union destroyer and egotistical, self seeking, squabbler whose only claim to fame was that he declared on the day we won the Americas cup that "any boss who expects his staff to work today, is a bum!" Finally, there was Malcom Frazer, the school prefect Liberal, who replaced Whitlam, but left our doors wide open to foreigners and sundry scum. Time will tell. Our children will pay the price. In spite of all John Howard and his team's hard work and occasional failings Australia will now take a massive step backwards. Today the Federal government is in the black due to sound management. Tomorrow the red ink will begin to flow! Tomorrow Rudd and his Labor team will bask in the warm sunny glow of victory, but in the not too distant future ordinary Australians will see the first cancerous pustules appear on the Labor body politic. DOCS 'knew
about boy'
Police are investigating the circumstances behind life-threatening injuries to a 14-month-old boy in Sydney's west. A police spokeswoman said a Blacktown child was injured in the early hours of Wednesday morning and taken to Blacktown Hospital before being transferred to Westmead Children's Hospital for treatment. The boy, who is known to the NSW Department of Community Services (DOCS), is fighting for his life after suffering cardiac arrest and possible head injuries, News Limited reports. Emergency services were told the boy fell from a highchair, but police have since said they are investigating the circumstances. The report says the boy was living in the home of a convicted killer on parole. A spokeswoman for DOCS said the department had no statement to make on the case. Comment was being sought from Community Services

GHB fears for
Chinese-made toys

Millions of Chinese-made toys have been recalled in the US
and
Australia after they were found to contain a substance linked to the
date-rape drug GHB.
A total of five children were taken to hospital after swallowing tiny beads known as Bindeez in Australia and Aqua Dots in the US. The beads were coated in chemicals which transformed into the banned drug when swallowed. It is the latest in a series of safety scares over products made in China. US toy maker Mattel has
recalled more than 20 million Chinese-made toys this year. |

Jails adapted
for foreign inmates

The British Prison Service has converted two jails so that they hold only foreign national prisoners, it is revealed. Bullwood Hall, Essex, and Canterbury Prison, Kent, have been taking foreign offenders since the 2006 crisis over prisoners who had not been deported. The Ministry of Justice said the jails which have immigration and language services were part of a plan to deport as many foreign prisoners as possible. More than 11,000 of the 81,000 prison population are foreign nationals. In 2006 the
then Home Secretary Charles Clarke was
sacked over the Home Office's failure to process the cases of 1,000
foreign national prisoners who could have been eligible for

EU leaders agree new treaty deal

EU leaders have reached a deal on a landmark treaty to reform the 27-member bloc, according to Portugal, which holds the rotating presidency. The deal in Lisbon was sealed after last-minute changes sought by Austria, Bulgaria, Italy and Poland were agreed. The treaty is designed to replace the European Constitution that was rejected by French and Dutch voters in 2005. It
includes plans for an EU foreign policy
chief, a longer-term president and fewer national veto rights.

threatens to trigger US dollar collapse The Chinese Government has begun a concerted campaign of economic threats against the US, hinting that it may liquidate its vast holdings of US Treasury bonds if Washington imposes trade sanctions to force a yuan revaluation. Chinese officials at leading Communist party bodies have given interviews in recent days warning, for the first time, the Beijing may use its $US1330 ($Aust1551 billion) of foreign reserves as a political weapon to counter pressure from the US Congress. Described as China's "nuclear option"in the state media, such action could trigger a dollar crash at a time when the US currency is breaking down through historic support levels. It would also cause a spike in US bond yields, hammering the US housing market and perhaps tipping the economy into recession. It is estimated that China holds more than $1050 billion in a mix of US Bonds. drink: It might help you lose weight - forever! 28th May 2007. Research from
Sheffield University suggests a common preservative found in many
carbonated soft drinks such as Fanta and Pepsi Max has the ability to
switch off vital parts of human cells which may lead to a deadly liver
disease and degenerative diseases such as Parkinson's.
The findings could have serious consequences for the millions of people who daily take a fizzy drink. They will also intensify the controversy about food additives, which have been linked to behaviour disorders in children. Concerns centre on the safety of E211, known as sodium benzoate, a preservative used for decades by the fizzy drinks industry. Sodium benzoate is used in large quantities to prolong the shelf life of soft drinks such as Sprite, Oasis and Dr Pepper. It is also added to pickles and sauces. Sodium benzoate has already been the subject of concern about cancer because when mixed with the additive vitamin C in soft drinks, it creates benzene, a carcinogenic substance. A Food Standards Agency survey of benzene in drinks last year found high levels in four brands which were removed from sale. Professor Peter Piper, Professor of molecular biology and biotechnology, at Sheffield University tested the impact of sodium benzoate on living yeast cells in his laboratory. What he found alarmed him: the benzoate was damaging an important area of DNA in the "power station" of cells known as the mitochondria. Killing DNA activity He told the UK newspaper The Independent on Sunday: "These chemicals have the ability to cause severe damage to DNA in the mitochondria to the point that they totally inactivate it: they knock it out altogether. "The mitochondria consumes the oxygen to give you energy and if you damage it - as happens in a number of diseased states - then the cell starts to malfunction very seriously. And there is a whole array of diseases that are now being tied to damage to this DNA - Parkinson's and quite a lot of neuro-degenerative diseases, but above all the whole process of ageing." The Food Standards Agency (FSA) backs the use of sodium benzoate in the UK and it has been approved by the European Union but last night, MPs called for it to investigate urgently. Norman Baker, the UK Liberal Democrat chair of Parliament's all-party environment group said: "Many additives are relatively new and their long-term impact cannot be certain. This preservative clearly needs to be investigated further by the FSA." Professor Piper, whose work has been funded by a government research council, said tests conducted by the US Food and Drug Administration were out of date. "The food industry will say these compounds have been tested and they are complete safe," he said. "By the criteria of modern safety testing, the safety tests were inadequate. Like all things, safety testing moves forward and you can conduct a much more rigorous safety test than you could 50 years ago." Warnings He advised parents to think carefully about buying drinks with preservatives until the quantities in products were proved safe by new tests. "My concern is for children who are drinking large amounts," he said. Coca-Cola, Barr’s Irn Bru, Britvic's Pepsi Max and Diet Pepsi and even the supposedly “healthy option” - the blackcurrant Ribena Original/Light as well as Panda Pops all contain sodium benzoate. Their makers and the British Soft Drinks Association said they entrusted the safety of additives to the Government. |

Forward with Fairness, says: "Collective agreements will be at the
heart of Labor's industrial relations system." It says a collective
agreement will rule a workplace when agreed on by a majority of workers
who turn up to vote. That means in a workplace of 1000 workers, if 100
workers turn up to vote and 51 workers vote yes to a collective
agreement, that agreement prevails. The vote of 51 workers will bind
all 1000 workers. Second, and this is not in Labor's
policy statement, the unions plan to charge all 1000 workers a
bargaining fee. ...Even better, the plan will also boost
union membership because unions will set a bargaining fee at a level
higher than membership fees."

is looking to scrap the word "multiculturalism" as part of a major
revamp of ethnic policy.
In a move seen as a shift in emphasis away from fostering diversity and towards increasing integration and responsibility among migrants, the government is canvassing alternative words to describe how ethnic communities harmoniously integrate into Australian society. The de facto minister for multiculturalism, parliamentary secretary Andrew Robb, yesterday confirmed to The Weekend Australian that he had told a meeting of the government-appointed Council of Multicultural Australia that he wanted to scrap the word from a redrafted multiculturalism policy. OPTION IN AUSTRALIA Today I received a letter from the Australian Government, Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs in response to an email I sent to the Australian Prime Minister (Hon John Howard) in August 2006 with regard to strong community concerns about moves to slide Sharia Law onto the Australian political agenda by local Muslims.  The response gives us some heart,
at least while John Howard is Prime Minister. In part it reads:"You may be assured that the Australian government will not be introducing sharia law into Australia, as this would be inconsistent with the principles of tolerance and freedom of religion that form an integral part of Australia's legal and social structure. It would also be unconstitutional for Government to legislate on the issue. Freedom of religion is an Australian value that we should be proud of and protect." Muslims, eat your hearts out! |

| TWO AUSTRALIAN ICONS PASS ON As Australia witnesses the emotional
memorial services for the passing of conservation giant Steve Irwin and
motor racing ikon Peter Brock it struck me that in all the television
coverage I didn't see one Muslim face. If immigrants and
especially Muslims genuinely want to become Australians they should be
looking at these Australian events and the values of these two men,
both of whom embodied "what it is to be Australian."

When will the British People learn to say NO!

can tell you this garbage would provoke a massive reaction over
here. The authorities wouldn't dare to pull this nonesense on
Anzac or Remembrance days. Our Veterans would tell the money
grubbing multi-national Insurance scamsters to bug..r off and would
march anyway. Who needs their stupid insurance or their idiotic
yellow safety jackets? The issue of gaining "perission to march"
wouldn't even arise for one second. The media would cave in and
back the veterans - they know what sells papers.
If there is any group in the British Isles with more right to march, it is your veterans. They need to, enmasse, "disobey politically correct orders" and confront these treasonous rats head on. Don't give one inch ... Go to the top, confront and challenge Blair directly through the media... tell him [b]WE MARCH![/b] Then watch the spineless blabbermouth and his house of cards cronies back down. Issues like this are 100% winners and golden opportunities for the NF and BNP to gain exposure and positive publicity and smash this "political correctness" facade once and for all. They should never be wasted. This issue reaches to the heart of what Britain and it's long and glorious history is all about. There they learn what it is to be Australian. School teachers, veterans and documentaries tell the stories - history lives on. Our children's young sobs and tears tell everyone that they understand humility, compassion, sacrifice and pride in their nation's dead. There they learn what true patriotism is and quietly resolve that 'No bast.....d will mess with us!" When you stand up once again, the young of Britain will learn and know their place isn't getting into pointless football match fights, taking drugs or playing video aimless games - give the nation one more example of what it means to be really British. The West Needs To Fight Islamofascists With Big Ideas By YOUSSEF

The West's war on terror is going tactically well enough, with its mission to put out fires here and there before they start. But it sorely misses the larger strategy that must be implemented. The concept is this: It isn't enough to get the guys with the bombs or beards but to alter the environment that produces them. Just like the war on communism, the war on terror must combine the force of arms with the power of ideas, a higher moral purpose with a mechanism of action. In other words, the West, along with Russia and China — which have no interest in jihadist uprisings within their own territories, needs a roadmap for its war on terror, clearly detailing its ultimate goals and how it will achieve them. Such a strategy must be forged in G-8 Summit Meetings as well as the manuals of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the parliaments of the European Union. It must be defined unambiguously as the obliteration of an ideology that reduces Islam to a cult of mass murder and suicide. Here is a blueprint: 1.The West needs strategies conveying to the vast majority of the world's 1.2 billion Muslims that acquiescence to jihadists and their ideologies means a rupture with Western civilization. The consequences for this should be spelled out by withholding Western commerce, the Internet, arms, machinery, and know-how — all of which still represent the bulk of progress as we define it in today's world. Imagine a ban on weapons and technology, on Microsoft and IBM, on Boeing, Ilyushin transport planes, and Airbus spares. 2. Draconian sanctions such as these should be applied in unison with Russia and China and clearly framed within the U.N. code. Islamic so-called moderate or client states including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Indonesia, among others, as well as enemies such as Iran, should be provided with a yardstick to define the dismantling of the infrastructure and software of terror at home — in mosques, in schools, in theocratic institutions, and inside government itself. That
will demand total elimination of the madrassa rote systems, the
restructuring of religious teachings, and the outlawing of political
groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Muslim Brotherhood, which
adopt religion as political vehicles.
3. In the West itself, the
last vestiges of tolerance toward Islamic fundamentalism must be
removed. Laws targeting extremist speech, Islamic dress, storefront
unregulated mosques, and the traffic of immigrant Muslims who do not
speak the language nor share the values of freedom must surface in the
legal codes of America, Europe, and Australia. The West must clearly
process the fact that it is facing an existential threat to its core
values, and it cannot be shy about installing tools of war in its
democratic practices. Lest anyone think this is much
ado about little, five years
ago on
one of America's darkest days when airplanes were crashed into the
World Trade Center, it seemed that only a few hundred jihadists were
aiming to make a point. Now, it is clear that the people
responsible for those
burning
towers in Manhattan were only small filaments of a spider's web
encompassing millions of Muslims. Beyond towers, their aim is a freeze
on freedom, democracy, and secularism — foundations that took centuries
to develop, requiring the defeat of communism in order to prevail. The
new plan is tyrannical rule by another name — jihad. But jihadists and
secular tyrants are quite willing to join hands on this one. Long before 9/11, jihadist
adherents and sponsoring secular
states,
even communist states, had been stretching cobwebs into the suburbs of
London and Islamabad, the streets of Baghdad and Kabul, the valleys
between Syria and Lebanon, Iran and Iraq, and inside Western Europe and
across Africa. Enablers include our closest
allies in Egypt, Saudi Arabia,
tribal
leaders in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the merchants of Dubai and Kuwait,
all the way into the Indian Ocean, Indonesia, and Asia. So, just imagine a world where
the likes of Muammar Gadhafi
of
Libya, President Chavez of Venezuela, Bashar Al-Assad of Syria, Fidel
Castro of Cuba, President Ahmadinejad of Iran, King Abdullah of Saudi
Arabia, along with Hosni Mubarak and his sons in Egypt, the Muslim
Brotherhood movements of Hamas in Palestine, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and
carbon copies in Indonesia, Pakistan, and across Asia all join hands. This is the perspective
that the larger strategy requires.

The Australian Prime Minister Mr John Howard today came under immediate fire from Australian Muslims when he told them in very firm and crystal clear terms "Learn English and embrace Australian values quickly ..." Due to Islamic inflexibility Howard is already at loggerheads with an Islamic Committee appointed after the Cronulla Riots in Sydney to try to smooth rapidly deteriorating relations between Muslims and the wider Australian community. Howard's comments follow equally strong words from Australian Treasurer Peter Costello and Attorney General Philip Ruddock. Costello had earlier said "If they don't like Australian values, then perhaps they had better go elsewhere." What was not said in the Prime Minister's comments was that several large Australian surveys have indicated better than eighty five percent of Australians are fully away of the Muslim menace ... surely the wily John Howard is onto another vote winner. But this time it could actually be what the people want. Even

Try This - I dare you! Enter Pakistan, Afghanistan or Iraq illegally. Never mind immigration quotas, visas, international law, or any of that nonsense. Once there, demand that the local government provide free medical care for you and your entire family. Demand bilingual nurses and doctors. Demand free bilingual local government forms, bulletins, etc. Procreate abundantly. Deflect any criticism of allegedly irresponsible reproductive behavior with, "It is a cultural thing; you wouldn't understand mate." Keep your Australian identity strong. Fly the your national flag from your roof top, or proudly display it in your front window or on your car bumper. Speak only English at home and in public and insist that your children do likewise. Demand classes on English and Australian culture in the Muslim school system. Demand a local Country driver license. This will afford other legal rights and will go far to legitimise your unauthorised, illegal, presence in Pakistan, Afghanistan or Iraq. Drive around with no liability insurance and ignore local traffic laws. Insist that local Country, law enforcement teach English to all its officers. Good luck! You'll soon be dead. Because it will never happen in Pakistan, Afghanistan or Iraq or any other country in the world except right here - Australia. with a cage containing five monkeys ( Or a school classroom or
community, or a Nation ) Inside the cage, hang a banana on a string
and place a set of stairs under it. Before long, a monkey will go to
the stairs and start to climb towards the banana. As soon as he touches
the stairs, spray all of the other monkeys with cold water. After a
while, another monkey makes an attempt with the same result all the
other monkeys are sprayed with cold water. Pretty soon, when another
monkey tries to climb the stairs, the other monkeys will try to prevent
it. Now, put away the cold water. Remove one
monkey from the cage and replace it with a new one. The new monkey sees
the banana and wants to climb the stairs. To his surprise and horror,
all of the other monkeys attack him. After another attempt and attack,
he knows that if he tries to climb the stairs, he will be assaulted. Next, remove another of the original five
monkeys and replace it with a new one. The newcomer goes to the stairs
and is attacked. The previous newcomer takes part in the punishment
with enthusiasm ! Likewise, replace a third original monkey with a new
one, then a fourth, then the fifth. Every time the newest monkey takes
to the stairs, he is attacked. Most of the monkeys that are beating him
have no idea why they were not permitted to climb the stairs or why
they are participating in the beating of the newest monkey. After
replacing all the original monkeys, none of the remaining monkeys have
ever been sprayed with cold water. Nevertheless, no monkey ever again
approaches the stairs to try for the banana. Why not ? Because as far
as they know that's the way it's always been done around here. Lest we forget.
