In the USA the equivalent group musters 35 million members and this "Grey Gorilla" exerts a powerful influence on the US Senate and Congress. In
a rapidly changing world GLOBAL ACTION (AUSTRALIA) immensely values the
experience
and drive of this sector of our community and will do all in its
power
to consult with and take into account not just their needs, but
also
the aspirations of this vital group.

Veteran's Affairs - see link below for more information. d. Ageism Laws - non discriminatory workplace opportunities. e. Supporting Grey Power in the workforce, especially in teaching and mentoring. f. Tax breaks for over 50's. Retirement will probably become a thing of the past. In the future GLOBAL ACTION (AUSTRALIA) sees the grey generation as moving from "must do" careers or work to a change of pace in "want or like to do" work that keeps people active in the community and brings in a little additional (TAX FREE) income.
