Global Action, was conceived in the first few years of this new century to research and explore the spectrum of political thought, mainly in Australia, but also abroad. Through this information gathering process a great many views were examined. Some were proposed to gauge opinion, others were the belief of the founder of Global Action. The party platforms and policies of every registered political party in Australia were accessed in an exhaustive process that took six years.

Global Action's It's founder Lyn Vickery was born of British/Australian Parents, is a proud third generation Australian and a lifetime student of world affairs, history, and politics. He also has an unshakable belief in the destiny of Australia, Great Britain, Europe, Canada, New Zealand and the United States of America.

Like many concerned people, he watched the hard won rights, values, institutions and progress of Australia and other great nations and peoples hijacked, fettered and eroded by vested interests, powerful internationalist lobby groups, religious terrorists and in some cases just plain kooks. Millions of hard working, honest, people sense this same sinister trend and are justifiably alarmed about what the future may hold. Especially in the light of emerging global warming science and the advent of Peak Oil. On a daily basis the media screams about injustice, scams, cover-ups and absurdities.

Have you not seen and felt this in your own life and the lives of others?

What happened to honesty, moral backbone and a fair go for all - especially for the little person? How much longer can we, as individuals, ignore the terrible cancers gnawing at the very soul of our western nations and indeed the world?

Ask yourself this: "What kind of legacy are we passing on to our children? Will our great nations become multi-culti hell holes and cesspools of lawlessness manipulated by the New World Order, the World Bank and religious extremists who uphold false beliefs drawn from the blackest period of the dark ages and before?"

Unlike most, Lyn Vickery decided to take positive global action to do something about the rot! But more than that, he took the time out, at his own expense, to develop a strong set of wholly new objectives and solutions applicable to not only Australia's social and economic ills, but also those of the wider world community. In this shrinking, energy starved, over populated, pollution choked twenty first century world no nation can stand alone. We need the rich tapestry of nations and tribes, but we don't need to live in each others faces nor seek to dominate other people.

The muddy political formulas and dogma that created the murderous chaos of the twentieth century were born in the minds of men who drew from values systems and sources grounded in the realities of even earlier times. They were out of touch even way back then! So what possible use are those tattered political, economic and religious dogmas now? None!

Fresh solutions are needed to arrest the damage already done. How do we catch up when the world is already thrashing about in the bog of global warming and a hundred other issues that, if not addressed immediately, will obliterate life as we know it?

Strong, well principled, leadership and many strong hands are needed immediately to fight for solutions that are right rather than just expedient, profitable or popular. The days for personal greed ("I want it all and I want it now") and ruthless self interest are over. A knowledge of who we are and where we came from, moral values and mutual trust is the glue that holds society together. Remove any or all of those elements and the result is anarchy.

Forget the left, right and centre of those arthritic political systems that misgovern our world. Forget the old discredited worn out "isms" of the last century. How can they possibly hope to resolve the challenges of the future? They couldn't provide workable solutions then and they certainly won't now. The world needs the right answers and actions now - not more Band-Aids on the putrefying corpse of the body politic.

It has long been known that the real lesson of history is that we have learned little from the lessons of history. Just think back over the catastrophic chain of events that led to the global political, economic, social, population, resource and pollution mess we witness today.

What is at the core of these calamities? Ask yourself what drives humanity forward for better or worse? All human action begins with a thought - an idea. Wrong idea - wrong outcome. Right idea - perhaps right outcome. What effects the course of an idea as it moves on to become an action or in the case of politics - a policy and finally a law?

When the people encounter a new idea, what makes them either accept or reject it? The answer is their collective human nature - their value system, their attitude. At the core of our worldwide economic and political problems are all those well known negative attributes of human nature: Greed, self interest, lies, the quest for power ... I could go on!

We are called GLOBAL ACTION because we are about ACTION. We are about using the massive accumulated experience of humankind in a powerful and morally positive way to swiftly bring about the correct outcomes for the planet and the people - regardless of the noisy demands of traditional religion, politics, expediency or economic theory.

We are not a religious movement. We are not a traditional political party. We are a world wide, issue driven, movement of the people - those same people Abraham Lincoln spoke of all those years ago.

In a rapidly changing and increasingly technologically dependent world, we are the only unfettered (baggage free) international movement truly dedicated to regulating rapid change for good by all possible legal means.

The old systems of government and the law can no longer keep up. The people and the times cry out for change and for GLOBAL ACTION. We act within the laws of the land, but we also aggressively demand ACTION and CHANGE when those laws or the governments of the day manifestly cannot or will not cope.

Why the hurry? The difference now, is that we (you, I and the planet) are almost out of time! We must apply our accumulated experience and knowledge quickly, correctly, firmly and above all now!

GLOBAL ACTION is not a single issue organisation, it is not even a party in the traditional sense of the word. It is however a genuine and credible twenty first century alternative to all of the largely irrelevant parties and "isms" of the past.

How can you sweep away the political, economic and religious debris of the past? How can you save our nation and the earth?
